Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Operational Leader to oversee and manage the performance of multiple facilities within our waste management division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of operational excellence and project management within the waste industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities, implementing process improvements, and integrating new acquisitions into the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Management:
- Conduct daily reviews of business performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify areas of success and those needing improvement, and communicate findings to the leadership team.
- Operational Improvements:
Collaborate with the VP of Operations to develop and execute operational strategies aimed at improving efficiency and productivity across multiple business units.
Lead and project manage major facility upgrades, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution while maintaining high standards of operational functionality.Provide support to facilities and transportation operations by troubleshooting real-time issues and challenges as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.Assist in the seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into the group by working closely with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and ensure alignment with the company’s strategic goals.Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of key performance metrics and operational efficiency strategies.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing large-scale facility upgrades.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues in real time.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, particularly in integrating new businesses into established operations.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership, peers, and teams across multiple locations.
