We are currently seeking a qualified
Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing procurement compliance strategies, overseeing supplier risk management, supporting procurement integration initiatives, and ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational standards across global operations.
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Job Type: Contract- 12 months
Working Arrangement: Hybrid 2-3 days/week
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Support the development of a global procurement compliance roadmap and strategic governance initiatives.
- Monitor procurement controls and ensure transparency, accountability, and ethical procurement practices.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks across the end-to-end supplier lifecycle.
- Develop and implement risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and operational resilience.
- Oversee supplier onboarding and vendor compliance processes to ensure adherence to legal, policy, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between procurement objectives and organizational priorities.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to procurement compliance, supplier risk, and operational performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, Procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supplier compliance, risk management, or procurement governance roles.
- Bilingual, spoken and written. (French/English)
- Strong understanding of procurement operations, compliance frameworks, supplier governance, and risk management principles.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Engineering, Technology, or Manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with procurement systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- MES, ERP, Quality and PLM Systems.
