Position Summary:
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Spray Foam Assistant to support our spray foam applicators in the installation of 2 lb closed-cell spray foam insulation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the insulation industry and gain hands-on experience.
Responsibilities:
Get to work in a timely manner
Assist lead spray foam installer in daily job site operations
Prep and mask work areas to ensure proper spray foam application
Assembly and disassembly of scaffolding and platforms
Load and unload job materials and maintain a clean work site
Wear and maintain proper PPE (personal protective equipment)
Support cleanup and removal of insulation debris after job completion
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction or spray foam insulation
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) or more
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and in dusty or dirty environments
- Able to work in both hot and cold weather conditions
- Valid driver's license is required
- Reliable transportation is required to travel to our shop at 201 Exeter Road, London, ON, where crews depart daily to various job sites
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn from experienced installers
- Familiarity with spray foam equipment and materials is considered an asset
