Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Biotechnologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research and experiments to develop new products and processes in the field of biotechnology. This role requires a strong understanding of biological systems and the ability to apply scientific principles to solve complex problems. The Biotechnologist will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to advance our projects and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct experiments in molecular biology, microbiology, or biochemistry to support product development of monoclone antibodies.
- Analyze experimental data and interpret results to make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, methodologies, and findings in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in biotechnology by reviewing scientific literature and participating in professional development opportunities.
- Ensure laboratory safety protocols are followed at all times.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and sequencing
- Experience in mammalian cell reproduction in bio reactors an asset.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting complex information clearly.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to biotechnology research is a plus.
- A passion for scientific discovery and a commitment to advancing the field of biotechnology.
