Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels and amenities as needed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and minibar items
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a hygienic environment
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
Requirements
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
- Previous experience with industrial cleaning or custodial tasks is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within designated timeframes
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
