Duties

- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and proper storage procedures.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and other culinary tools.
- Support meal preparation for various service types, including dine-in, catering, and special events.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional service to guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques across diverse cuisines.
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for specialized menu preparation.
- Experience with menu planning, meal prep, and catering operations demonstrates versatility.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures is essential.
- Fine dining experience or work in upscale restaurant settings highlights attention to detail and presentation skills.
