Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Labourer specializing in Packaging, Sanding and Buffing to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing products through precise sanding and buffing techniques, ensuring high-quality standards are met consistently. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, familiarity with hand tools, and experience working within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Duties
- Operate sanding and buffing equipment to achieve smooth, polished surfaces on various products
- Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to prepare items for finishing processes
- Follow detailed work instructions to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper handling of materials
- Assist with packaging products according to specifications and quality requirements
- Support warehouse activities such as material handling with forklifts and other equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies and report issues promptly
