Volta Contracting is a Prince George electrical contractor working residential and multi-unit projects. We're hiring an entry-level helper with a real path to a registered electrical apprenticeship for the right person.
What you'll do:
- Assist electricians on site — pulling wire, drilling, mounting boxes, material handling
- Keep sites clean and organized, load/unload material
- Learn the trade hands-on from experienced electricians
What we're looking for:
- No electrical experience required — attitude and reliability matter most
- Physically fit, comfortable on ladders and in crawl spaces
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools an asset (or willing to acquire)
- Shows up on time, every time
What you get:
- Steady full-time hours
- Wage based on experience — $18.25 - $25.32/hr to start
- Apprenticeship sponsorship for the right candidate — we'll register you with SkilledTradesBC and support your Level 1 schooling
