Facility Maintenance Technician

Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, Roof, structural, Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area )

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Respond to breakdowns and repair issues in a timely manner

Maintain and repair:

HVAC systems
-
lighting
-
Plumbing systems
-
Facility( washrooms, walkway, parking area ), scissor lifts, boom lift, forklift.

Ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely

Monitor building condition including walls, floors, roofing, and doors
-
Conduct minor civil work (painting, patching, repairs)

Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas

Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
-
Identify and report potential hazards
-
Follow lockout/tagout and safe work procedures
-
Maintain maintenance logs and records
-
Report recurring issues and recommend improvements
-
Support audits and inspections
-
Uses a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties
-
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
-
The role requires 2 years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

Exposure to high and low temperatures

Fumes or airborne particles

Moving mechanical parts and vibration
