Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Underground Utility Locator to join our team. This role involves accurately identifying and marking underground utilities to ensure safe excavation and construction activities. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and familiarity with Locating equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and technical expertise are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Locate and mark underground utilities such as gas, water, electric, and telecommunications lines using specialized equipment.
- Interpret utility maps, blueprints, and construction plans to determine the location of underground infrastructure.
- Use hand tools, power tools
- Conduct safety inspections of equipment and work sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction crews, engineers, and project managers to coordinate utility location activities.
- Maintain detailed records of utility locations, markings, and related activities for documentation purposes.
Skills
- Electrical experience related to low voltage systems and utility infrastructure.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
- Valid certifications or license

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
