Warehouse Associate (Full-Time)

OVERVIEW
Kanto is an exciting brand of consumer electronics designed to support our customers' digital lifestyles. As a rapidly growing company, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team in Langley, BC.
This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving activities, and product rework initiatives. The successful candidate will help ensure orders are processed accurately, inventory is maintained, and products are prepared to Kanto's quality standards.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, receiving, inventory control, shipping coordination, product rework, and container handling. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders and inventory transfers with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Receive, unload, palletize, and stock incoming products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, electric narrow aisle reach trucks, and power pallet jacks (certification preferred).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Inventory Control
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory counts.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper stock handling and documentation.
- Assist with inventory transfers and stock organization as required.
Product Rework & Refurbishment
- Rework, refurbish, and inspect audio products and mounts according to established quality standards.
- Process customer returns and support product refurbishment initiatives.
- Assist with product quality inspections and corrective actions as required.
- Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Support
- Prepare and process shipping documentation using SAP and carrier-specific software.
- Coordinate with carriers regarding pickups, shipment issues, claims, shortages, damages, and overages.
- Support third-party logistics (3PL) orders and service requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and other departments to resolve logistical issues.
Process Improvement & Safety
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and OH&S requirements.
- Document and support continuous improvement initiatives and warehouse processes.
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or power pallet jacks preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP/WMS systems is considered an asset.
- Steel-toed safety boots required (boot allowance provided after probation).
WORK LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
- This position is based in Langley, BC.
- Reliable personal transportation is strongly recommended, as public transit service is limited and may not provide convenient access to the work location.
