Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery to minimize downtime and ensure safety standards are met. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in supporting operational efficiency and maintaining a safe work environment.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of malfunctions
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in installation of new equipment and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and tasks

Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
- Experience with power tools for repair and maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality
- Good communication skills to effectively document work performed and communicate with team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
