MIXER TRUCK DRIVER

C.R.M. Ready-Mix Ltd. is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to work at our operations in Stratford, Prince Edward Island. The successful candidates must possess a Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement and have at least two years’ driving experience, previous experience in the Ready-Mix industry would be an asset. Preference may be given to applicants who have completed a formal professional commercial driving program. Candidates must maintain a valid driver’s licence, possess a good safety record and provide an acceptable police records check and clean drivers abstract. The ideal applicant must have completed high school or equivalent.
Responsibilities include the safe delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites and demonstration of a professional attitude and excellent customer relation skills. Drivers are responsible for the cleaning and general maintenance of trucks as well as the plant and yard. Drivers must follow company safety policies and provincial regulations including daily pre-trip inspections. Mixer drivers work a flexible schedule to meet customer demands and may be required to perform other duties and operate various pieces of equipment which they are qualified. Base wage of $26.35/hr and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
