What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a key role in assembling, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems while ensuring every product meets rigorous quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Assemble mechanical components to specified tolerances using engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform complete system setup and mechanical integration prior to testing.
- Operate overhead cranes and lift trucks safely as required.
- Assist Engineering with mechanical and electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide recommendations for assembly improvements and best practices.
- Support Manufacturing Engineering by identifying production issues and helping develop practical solutions.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure finished products meet established quality standards.
- Perform service work as required.
- Interface with customers during equipment testing when necessary.

You'll help build highly engineered mechanical systems that may include:
- Heavy mechanical assemblies
- Launch and recovery equipment
- Hydraulic and mechanical handling systems
- Winches and cable handling equipment
- Precision structural assemblies
- Custom-engineered marine equipment
These products are designed to operate in demanding environments where reliability, precision, and quality are essential.
Basic Qualifications
- Trade school education, Mechanical Technician, Electrical Technician, Licensed Millwright, or equivalent experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly experience.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.

- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial assembly environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to mentor and support fellow team members.
- Ability to remain calm and focused while troubleshooting equipment and working within production deadlines.
