This position is a great supplement to your current employment while also offering the opportunity to work full time hours depending on availability.
Casual, Flexible hours to fit your schedule. Hours range from 24 to 40 hours a week but are not guaranteed.
Competitive rate of pay starting at $24-$27.50 per hour plus 4% vacation pay and paid stat holidays
Responsibilities:
To provide meaningful and accountable support and services that will have a positive impact on the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
· Support residents with activities of daily living, behaviour management, life skills
· Engage and support residents in community activities, appointments
· Administer medications
· Preparing meals and light housekeeping
Qualifications:
· Must have DSW, SSW, CSW or PSW Diploma
· Documentation of full Covid-19 vaccination
· Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
· Certification in CPR and First Aid
· Safe Management Certification or CPI Blue Card
· Can meet the physical demands of the position
· Valid G-class driver's license and have a reliable vehicle
· Must have an updated police check with vulnerable sector search
· Experience in approved behavioural intervention techniques an asset
