We are seeking motivated, safety-focused IRATA Rope Access Technicians to join our growing team. We specialize in industrial rope access projects throughout Ontario and are looking for experienced IRATA-certified technicians who are committed to safety, professionalism, and quality workmanship.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects that require specialized rope access techniques in industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform rope access work in accordance with IRATA International safe work practices.
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repair work in difficult-to-access locations.
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain rope access gear.
- Follow all company safety policies and site-specific requirements.
- Work effectively as part of a professional rope access team.
- Perform work at height and in confined spaces as required.
- Experience with rock scaling, removal of loose or hazardous material from rock faces, and the installation of rock bolts, mesh, anchors, and slope stabilization systems is considered an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Current IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 certification.
- Valid Working at Heights certification.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights in challenging environments.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Construction or industrial maintenance experience.
- Rock scaling and rock bolting experience.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
- Confined Space and Rescue training.
