We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The technician will utilize various hand and power tools, perform heavy lifting, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with manufacturer specifications
- Repair dents, scratches, and structural damage using appropriate tools and techniques
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove, replace, or realign vehicle panels and parts
- Perform mechanical repairs related to auto body work, including frame straightening and component replacement
- Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet safety standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within scheduled timeframes
Requirements
- Automotive repair background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and auto body components
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and pry bars
- Experience using power tools for cutting, grinding, sanding, and polishing
- Ability to lift heavy vehicle parts or equipment safely (heavy lifting required)
- Prior mechanic experience or automotive repair training is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- autobody: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Journeyman Ticket (preferred)
