We are a mascot fabricating company with a world-renowned internation client base and are looking for new sewing costumers to join our team!
This position focuses on using 2-D illustrations to create our larger-than-life mascot costumes! You’ll bring your keen eye for detail and finishing to fabricate costumes from the drawing stage to completion.
We require all candidates to be thoroughly experienced with hand-sewing and pattern drafting. All candidates must also be comfortable using an industrial straight stitch, serger and walking foot as well.
At Maydwell Mascots you’ll have your own personal workspace in our spacious open-concept studio. Enjoy the ability to flex your creative muscles in a project-based work environment. Ideally you will bring your strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to bring our clients vision to life!
We value candidates who are strong team players while also being able to manage their tasks independently.
Experience with draping, upholstering, costume making, walking foot, and spray adhesives are a plus.
Portfolio encouraged but not required.
