We are seeking a skilled and licensed Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and accurately
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Assist with vehicle assembly and component replacement as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting techniques
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each vehicle
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs, timelines, and service recommendations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and high-quality service delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent license required
- Proven dealership or mechanic experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Experience with automotive repair in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Knowledge of vehicle assembly processes is a plus
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards
