Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who is passionate about delivering innovative Early in Career recruitment events and creating exceptional candidate experiences. In this role, you’ll lead the end-to-end planning and execution of campus events while partnering with business leaders and institutions to build strong talent pipelines and enhance our employer brand. What You’ll Do:
Engagement & Event Planning
Prepares and manages detailed project plans, internal and external EIC events, including campus events and networking sessions, collaborating closely with TA team that enhance student and candidate experience
Manages end-to-end event logistics including event budget tracking, vendor scheduling and coordination, materials, communications, and on-site execution; supports development of event concepts and activities to drive student engagement
Develops project communications and plans; briefs business partners on dates, tools and documents required for program delivery
Assesses and makes recommendations based on lessons learned from each project/program rollout
Supports and provides input on Talent Acquisition projects and other department initiatives as relates to EIC
Stays current with applicable EIC trends and practices by participating in external networks or roundtable groups with industry peers, leveraging internal and external research to identify and present trends, opportunities, and solutions
Supports recruitment activities during peak hiring periods
Business Intelligence Analysis & Reporting
Accountable for creating dashboards, developing reports, and analyzing trends to provide business insights on EIC programs
Identifies and interprets metrics applying experience and knowledge of the business to present meaningful data for use in presentations for TA and business groups
Identifies opportunities for improvements, as relates to EIC compliance, develops recommendations for leadership consideration
Collaboration/Relationships
Builds and maintains relationships with post-secondary institutions, faculty, and career centers representing TJX Canada at campus and external events
Builds relationships with business partners, by leveraging talent knowledge to educate, provide advice on and drive attraction and engagement
Collaborates with business leaders to facilitate meaningful student interactions
Provides consultation and guidance to business partners to understand impacts of situations, leveraging Talent Acquisition processes and resource tools, as well as Company policies, procedures, and culture to guide outcomes
Maintains strong working relationships and open communication lines within TA department and with business partners to effectively plan, prioritize and organize EIC events and initiatives
Supports development of targeted messaging to attract early talent; leverages employer brand and internal teams on engagement initiatives
About You:
Minimum five (5) years talent acquisition experience; early in career, employment branding, engagement and event planning preferred
Post-secondary education in Business Management, Human Resources or related program considered an asset
Exceptional inter-personal skills; demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels and within local, regional, national markets
Strong collaboration, influencing and partnering skills, including prioritizing urgency, effectively communicating and working across multiple teams and levels within the organization
Excellent data collection skills including needs assessment, analysis of information (e.g. description of problems, qualitative data collection and analysis etc.); able to analyze and interpret data sets using statistics and report synthesis to convey meaningful trends and insights
Problem assessment and resolution skills including prioritizing (managing multiple demands); multi-tasking; ability to handle high volume workload; information gathering including ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Excellent communication skills (active listening, reflecting and rephrasing other’s ideas to ensure understanding, expressing and articulating views clearly, writing with clarity, adapting message for the audience)
Strong self-management skills (establishing priorities, effective time management)
Team orientation with a focus on team success; with willingness to support other team members
Project support skills including maintaining detailed plans for projects; understanding and applying principles of project control; ability to organize and track program delivery progress across multiple engagement and wellness initiatives
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including strong Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint; experience with Adobe products considered an asset

Salary Range: $ 76,620.00-$107,268.00 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
