GAO Research Inc. is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Chinese-speaking students or recent graduates located in Canada to join our Hardware Design team as virtual interns.

Duration: 3-6 months

Perform circuit simulations, prototyping, and hardware testing to validate designs.

Create and maintain accurate technical documentation, design files, and test reports.

Support the integration of hardware designs into GAO Research’s products and solutions.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, sourcing teams, and product managers.

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required for communication with clients and partners in China.

Knowledge of Chinese business culture and communication styles is a strong asset for this role.

Understanding of electronic components and embedded systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently in a virtual, team-based environment.

Gain hands-on experience with a well-established international technology company.

Mentorship from experienced hardware engineers and technical experts.

Receive three certificates (or multiple certificates) upon successful completion of the internship.
