Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to detect and prevent unauthorized activities or breaches of security.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with visitors, clients, and employees.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding safety and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security-related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
- Proficiency in operating security equipment.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess a valid security license as required by local regulations (if applicable).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
