Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Patrol Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring the property, preventing loss, and responding promptly to incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and a background in security operations. This is a paid position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe environment while developing essential security skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Enforce property rules and policies to prevent theft, vandalism, or other losses
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, providing appropriate action or escalation as needed
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed
Skills
- REQUIRED: Must have a BSP issued license
- REQUIRED: Must be bilingual in both French and English
- Prior experience in security, or surveillance is highly desirable
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining vigilance during patrols
- Physical stamina to perform regular patrols and respond quickly to emergencies

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
