The Corporate Services Division in Ottawa has an immediate opening for a full-time IT Systems Coordinator with two to five years of relevant experience. We are looking for the best and the brightest candidate to fill this role; the reward is a competitive salary (reviewed annually) and benefits package. As an integral member of the Corporate Services Team, the IT Systems Coordinator will coordinate staff technology support, onboarding/offboarding, hardware tracking, software access, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, approved AI tools and routine IT issue resolution. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, honest, hardworking individual, and with the ability to multi-task. The candidate should also be a great team player who thrives on continuous improvement and embraces change in their everyday approach with their work. The ability to communicate effectively with the various departments will be a vital part of the role.
The ideal candidate for this dynamic and challenging role should be capable of the following:
- Coordinate routine IT support for computers, printers, phones, docks, monitors, meeting rooms and software;
- Coordinate new employee technology setup with HR, managers and the external IT provider, including hardware, accounts, email, Teams, SharePoint and software;
- Coordinate offboarding, including hardware return, access removal, file/email transfer, device wipe/reassignment and inventory updates;
- Maintain hardware/software asset inventory, including assigned users, warranties, device age, replacement timing and software licences;
- Support Microsoft 365, SharePoint, software installation/licensing, document sharing, collaboration tools and approved AI workflows;
- Liaise with HR, managers, staff and the external IT provider to track tickets, escalate advanced matters and improve recurring processes;
Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, systems coordination or a similar internal technology support role;
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint;
- Experience setting up laptops, desktops, docks, monitors, phones, printers and meeting-room equipment;
- Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding, permissions, software installation and hardware asset tracking;
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
- Proven prioritization, time management and project management skills;
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills;
- Asset management, ticketing, Intune, Bluebeam, Autodesk, Deltek/Vantagepoint, Adobe, GIS, AI or automation experience an asset.

Pay Range: $55K to $65K – salary is commensurate with education and experience
