Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Barbecue Assembler for our Distribution Center in Waterloo. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient assembly of our premium barbecue products, contributing to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
TA Appliance is a professionally managed, family owned business with many years of experience in appliance and barbecue retail distribution. We focus on meeting our customer's needs at all levels by offering the best brands at great prices. We are currently looking for a Barbecue Assembler. This is a great summer job for a student!
Responsibilities:
- Assembling barbecues and other product as needed
- Basic knowledge of putting things together and working with tools
- Ensure product is cleaned and inspected
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Achieve daily productivity goals
- Troubleshoot with warehouse staff and sales team on any assembly issues so customer gets product on time
- Maintain professional attitude at all times
- Health and safety compliance/participation
Requirements:
- Understanding of the importance of good customer service
- Previous experience working in warehouse environment an asset
- Comply with company policy
- Must be able to work days and or evenings - Mon-Fri
- Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read/interpret instructions for assembly
- Mechanical knowledge highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Adhere to company health and safety policies
