Job Title: Millworker / Benchworker

The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the assembly, fitting, and fine-tuning of bespoke cabinetry and architectural millwork. This isn’t just an assembly line; you’ll be working on diverse projects that require problem-solving and a high standard of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly: Build and assemble high-quality cabinetry, furniture, and timber components from prepared parts.
- Detailing: Fitting hinges, drawer slides, handles, and intricate hardware with precision.
- Material Prep: Sanding, trimming, and preparing surfaces for finishing or veneers.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists to ensure every millimeter is accounted for.
- Quality Control: Checking for flush joints, squareness, and overall structural integrity before projects head to the finishing department.
What You Bring to the Bench
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in millwork or bench joinery.
- Tool Proficiency: Expert-level use of hand tools, power tools (routers, biscuit joiners, drills), and stationary machinery.
- Material Knowledge: Familiarity with MDF, veneers, and laminates.
- Efficiency: The ability to manage your workflow to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
