About Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience managing full-cycle accounting and is comfortable handling both Canadian and U.S. financial operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate records, preparing precise invoices, supporting management with reporting, and ensuring efficient, cost-conscious financial operations.
What You’ll Do:
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage full-cycle accounting, including AR, AP, payroll, expenses, accruals, and inventory.
· Accurately prepare and issue sales invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded with a high degree of accuracy.
· Prepare and process ACH/EFT and wire payments; maintain accurate bank and credit card reconciliations.
· Handle GST, WCB, and U.S. tax filings as required in coordination with our accountants
· Maintain data integrity in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software.
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
· Collaborate with management to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance efficiency.
· Act as an independent, proactive team member, constantly identifying opportunities to reduce costs and plug financial leakages.
Qualifications:
· Minimum degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3–5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, ideally with Canadian and U.S. accounting exposure.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Sage, and Excel.
· Strong understanding of GAAP, multi-currency transactions, and cross-border compliance.
· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
· Self-motivated, independent, and able to manage priorities with minimal supervision.
· Proven ability to maintain accuracy while working efficiently and handling confidential information.
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
