We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. The Hairstylist will be responsible for providing professional haircuts, color services, and styling while ensuring sanitation standards are maintained. Experience in retail sales and upselling services is a plus, as it helps enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.we have lots of clients to just a men's haircut as well !
Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert advice.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication skills, ensuring repeat business.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing education.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hairstylist or in a similar customer service role within a salon or retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon setting.
- Ability to perform various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and finishing.
- Retail sales experience with an aptitude for upselling products or services is preferred.
- Front desk experience is a plus but not required; excellent organizational skills are essential.
