The Role
We are looking for a reliable, personable, and detail-oriented team member to join us at the front counter. This is a key operational role at the centre of our daily business — you are the first and last impression our customers have of Montgomery.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and manage drop-off and pickup transactions with accuracy and professionalism
- Tag incoming garments and document alteration and cleaning instructions clearly
- File and retrieve finished orders from the back efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized front counter
- Handle customer inquiries and communicate order status in a professional manner
- Support the team during peak periods with composure and a solutions-focused approach
- Assist with occasional lifting and movement of orders across the racks
Skills
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience required
- Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- A genuine appreciation for clothing and garment care
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy in tagging and filing is critical
- Experience with pinning or garment alterations is a significant asset
- Reliable, punctual, and an effective team contributor
- Comfortable working in a small, close-knit team environment
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
