The Role
As a Shallow Utilities Labourer, you will play a key hands-on role installing water, sewer, storm, and gas infrastructure across the Calgary region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with trenching, pipe laying, and service tie-ins
- Perform backfill, compaction, and site restoration
- Load/unload materials and maintain a clean, organized work site
- Operate hand tools, compaction equipment, and small machinery
- Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all safety procedures
- Support the Foreman and crew to complete projects safely and on schedule
Requirements
- Previous construction labour experience (civil or utilities preferred)
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy manual labour outdoors
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- CSTS 2020, Ground Disturbance, WHMIS, and other safety tickets are assets
- Reliable transportation and positive attitude

Pay: $1.00-$2.00 per hour
