Professional Piercer – Colibri Tattoo & Piercing Ottawa

Schedule: 3-4 days per week
Colibri Tattoo & Piercing is looking for an experienced and passionate Professional Piercer to join our Ottawa team. We pride ourselves on providing a luxury yet approachable client experience, offering a premium selection of implant-grade titanium and solid gold jewelry in a modern, welcoming studio.
We have a strong client base, consistent bookings, and a team-focused environment where quality, safety, and customer experience come first.
Compensation
- Hourly pay
- Commission on sales
- 100% of your tips
Expected earnings: approximately $900–$2,000+ per week, depending on your schedule and performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional body piercings following strict safety and sterilization standards.
- Guide clients in selecting jewelry that complements their anatomy and desired aesthetic, creating a well-fitted, curated look.
- Assess anatomy to determine whether a piercing is suitable and recommend the best placement or alternatives when necessary.
- Educate clients on proper aftercare and answer any questions before and after their appointment.
- Maintain accurate sterilization procedures, instrument processing, and infection control protocols.
- Keep working area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Deliver a welcoming, professional, and confidence-inspiring experience for every client.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional piercing experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and piercing suitability.
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection prevention practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable recommending and styling high-quality jewelry.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Able to work a consistent schedule of minimum 3 days per week.
