Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Chef Manager to lead daily kitchen operations for a busy multi-brand food delivery kitchen. The ideal candidate must have formal culinary training and hands-on experience managing food quality, kitchen staff, prep systems, inventory, and order execution.
This role is best suited for someone who is organized, fast, consistent, and able to maintain high food standards in a high-volume delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple food brands
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff and assign prep/service responsibilities
- Maintain food consistency, portion control, and presentation standards
- Monitor order accuracy for Uber Eats, DoorDash, and other delivery platforms
- Reduce food waste, order mistakes, delays, and customer complaints
- Manage inventory, prep lists, ordering, and stock rotation
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and health inspection readiness
- Train new kitchen staff on recipes, prep standards, and procedures
- Help improve menus, item quality, packaging, and kitchen workflow
- Work with ownership to improve sales, ratings, and profitability
Requirements
- Culinary institute, culinary diploma, or certified chef course is mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of relevant kitchen or chef experience
- Previous experience as a chef, sous chef, kitchen manager, or lead cook preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety, prep systems, and kitchen organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced delivery/takeout kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of kitchen performance
- Experience with multi-brand kitchens, delivery apps, or high-volume prep is an asset

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
