Belmont Dental is a new modern dental clinic opening in South Calgary and we are looking for an enthusiastic, organized and compassionate Dental Administrator to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing practice from day one and play a key role in helping deliver exceptional patient care – by creating a welcoming experience, building trust through efficient appointment scheduling and paperwork handling, and ensuring every visit ends smoothly and stress free.
YOUR ROLE:
- Be the warm-professional face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
- Manage phone calls, efficiently handle inquiries and book appointments
- Process insurance claims, billing systems, and communicate with insurance providers
- Establish and manage office protocols to support smooth operations daily
- Insurance coordination, helping patient understand their benefits and financial options.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and administrative documentation
- Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
- Fostering positive team culture, respectful task delegation and conflict resolution
- Co-ordinate referrals, vendor supply, actively help organize and participate in team events
WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office setting, including patient scheduling and clinic coordination for maximum efficiency
- Strong understanding of dental insurances processes, claims submission and billing procedure.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with dental software,social media and tech-savvy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Team-player, approachable and adaptable
- Sales and customer service experience is a plus
SCHEDULE: Full time (30-40 hrs /week) -some evenings and Saturdays required
