Boketto Dessert Cafe is a dessert cafe in River District looking for a reliable, self-directed Kitchen Assistant to help run our kitchen and get us ready to open each day. If you take pride in clean, consistent work and can keep things moving without someone looking over your shoulder, we'd like to hear from you.
Schedule
Part-time, mornings.
- Summer: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Fall/Winter: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
Pay: $19.50/hour
What you'll do
- Produce our baked goods
- Run soft serve production, and clean and sanitize the soft serve machine
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace throughout your shift
- Prep and set up the cafe for opening
- Prepare items for our front-of-house team
- Receive and check in ingredient deliveries
- Track ingredient levels and flag what's needed to the Assistant Manager
What we're looking for
- Food Safe Level 1 certification, valid and verified before your first shift (required, non-negotiable)
- Responsible and able to work independently
- Strong multitasker who works cleanly and efficiently
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet for the full shift
