Role Cloudera Platform Engineer Senior

Experience 5 Years
Technical Skills Primary
Minimum 5 years of experience on Cloudera Platform management configuration
Handson experience with Cloudera on prem platform components HDFS Hive Yarn Spark Kafka HBase
Experience with Cloudera Data Platform including installation configuration patching scaling performance tuning
Good at cluster capacity planning and file system management
Hands on experience with Kerberos RangerSentry and HDFS encryption
Backup and recovery strategies for HDFS and Metadata services
Design and maintain High Availability for Name Node Resource Manager Hive etc
Support Azure cloud operations for data platforms compute storage networking and IAM
Good at advanced technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis across platform components
Ensure Platform reliability availability and stability
Hands on experience in Designing developing and support Data Ingestion and data curation pipelines
Collaborate with cross functional teams following SAFE Agile practices
Work across Cloudera and Azure platforms to support Hybridcloud based platforms
Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have NOT MANDATORY
Working knowledge on GitLab for code management
Experience on other DATA platforms like Tableau BO with respect to user access management
Experience with SQL HQL and Big Data tools

Ability to have the requirement discussion with the customer stakeholders
Excellent communication analytical and problemsolving skills

Experience in Mentoring junior developers with technical support
Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering and solution design discussions with business stakeholders ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Lead the platform configuration for customers Cloudera Azure Platform
Lead end to end platform operations for Cloudera Data Platform across lower and production environments ensuring high availability and performance
Design and implement cluster sizing capacity planning and scalability strategies aligned with business growth
Collaborate with cloud network and security teams to ensure secure and compliant platform architecture
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives improving reliability efficiency and operational maturity
Assist in incident problem and change management processes ensuring minimal downtime and faster resolution
Manage user provisioning and security roles
Support deployments and migrations between environments
Maintain SOPs runbooks and knowledge base for Platform operations
Mentor and coach junior and intermediate developers fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team

Benefits
Compensation range: $100,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
