Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling protocols are followed at all times
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with excellent time management skills
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit to ensure prompt service and address any concerns
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and managing cash transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple guests effectively
- Experience in serving, bartending, or food service roles is highly desirable
