Job Posting: General Handyman - Property Maintenance Team
Join the Repin team and put your diverse skills to work! We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Handyman to be the backbone of our property maintenance operations. This is a hands-on role perfect for a problem-solver who enjoys variety and takes pride in maintaining high-quality standards across our residential community.
About the Role:
You will be our go-to expert for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring our apartments, common areas, and building systems are safe, functional, and well-kept. Your ability to tackle diverse challenges will keep our properties running smoothly and our residents happy.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Residential Repairs: Diagnose and fix issues including plumbing clogs, minor electrical work (like replacing outlets/switches), door/window adjustments, and appliance troubleshooting.
- Unit Turnover & Readiness: Perform a variety of tasks to prepare vacant units for new residents, including patching and painting walls, deep cleaning, replacing fixtures, and ensuring all systems are operational.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of properties to prevent future problems.
- Reno & Project Support: Assist with larger renovation projects, including demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, and trim work.
- General Upkeep: Maintain the overall appearance and safety of buildings, including common areas, lighting, and exterior grounds as needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Is a true jack-of-all-trades with proven experience in multiple trade areas (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting).
- Can confidently work independently, diagnose problems, and find effective solutions.
- Has a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Owns a reliable set of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Is professional, punctual, and communicates clearly with team members and residents.
- Prioritizes safety in all tasks.
