We are looking to hire a skilled demolition labourer to safely tear down old or unsound building structures, interior walls, and other infrastructure. The demolition labourer’s responsibilities include loading and unloading debris and waste onto and off trucks, using power tools, as well as building and dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures.
Requirements:
- Proven demolition or construction experience (min 1 years experience)
- MUST have reliable transportation to get you to and from the job site in the GTA
- Must have a clean criminal record
- Good physical stamina
- Knowledge of hand and power tools with the ability to operate them safely
- Maintain personal and workplace safety at all times by wearing proper PPE and adhering to all safety protocols
- Works well in a team and a minimum supervised setting
- Must be willing to work weekends, various shifts when required
- Fluent in English; good communication skills
- Spanish fluency is preferred but not mandatory
Pay starts at $22/hour, based on experience.
Hours per week: 40-50 hours guaranteed (Mon - Sat)
