West Ridge Sand & Gravel Ltd. is looking to hire experienced Equipment Operators capable of operating multiple types of heavy equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner. The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders. Experience with rock trucks, skid steers, and graders would also be considered an asset. Operator training for specific equipment may be provided, however, experience and proficiency on a range of construction equipment is definitely an asset.
Duties may include site preparation, material handling, grading, loading, stockpiling, excavation, general earthworks, and assisting with day-to-day gravel pit, construction, and plant operations at various locations in and around the Hinton, AB area.. The successful applicant must be safety-conscious, dependable, able to work well with others, and willing to help with general labour and equipment maintenance tasks as needed.
The successful candidate must have a clean Class 5 driver’s license, at minimum.
