CNC Machinist
XL Tool Inc. is currently seeking an experienced professional Machinist to join our growing team.

Day shift (Monday – Friday)
Afternoon shift (Monday- Thursday)

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:
Requirement:
- Machinist trade certificate or 5 years’ experience as a CUSTOM Machinist
- Experience in machine setup & Operation
- Responsible for setup and operation
- Experience machining Nuclear, Automation and Die components
- Experience with Fanuc control is an asset
- Bondable for controlled goods work
· Knowledge CAD Software, Mastercam preferred, Fusion would be an asset
· Perform daily machine checks for preventative maintenance and safety procedures.
- Practice excellent general housekeeping, including but not limited to, his/her work area, chip removal, floor areas, benches, storage areas to ensure a safe work environment
- Check all dimensions and tolerance.
Your contributions to the team include:
- CNC Machine effectively and efficiently in a Custom Machining environment.
- Ability to read & interpret blue prints, GD&T drawings, charts & tables. Motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to determine a machining process sequence per customer information & requirements provided in the Part Print.
- Identify opportunities for improvement via new tooling, set up reduction concepts and programming changes to improve cost and delivery
- Program using Mastercam and able to make decisions and edit programs if needed
- CNC lathe experience would be an asset
- Ability to work as a Team
- Attention to Detail
- Willing to work overtime if required
