Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail to meet customer specifications.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Package baked goods for sale, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries about baked products.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients, including cake decorating skills.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
