With 2 stores in Ottawa and a strong online presence, we serve Canadians and international visitors alike and will ship purchases to anywhere in the world.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are hiring enthusiastic and attentive part-time key holder sales associates for our Bayshore Shopping Centre store in Ottawa. Are you passionate about Canada? Do you thrive in a professional retail environment? If so, joining the Made in Canada Gifts team may be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation of a busy retail store in a major shopping mall
- Attend to customers with enthusiasm, maturity, and strong product knowledge
- Conduct sales transactions using a computerized point-of-sale system
- Respond to customer communications by telephone and occasionally by email
- Maintain and enhance in-store product merchandising
- Maintain appearance of store, including cleaning of display shelving and floors
- Ensure accuracy in all cash transactions, inventory counts, and store procedures
- Removal of recycling and garbage from store
- Work collaboratively as a team with store management and other employees
Requirements
- Previous experience in a professional retail environment is highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and/or strong interest in Canadian and Indigenous artisanal products
- Ability to serve customers in both English and French is highly desirable
- Physical stamina to work on your feet for long shifts, and ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Post-secondary education (or partial) is preferred. Students are welcome.
- Availability to work a minimum of 2 to 4 shifts per week
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00 per hour
