QuickFix Handyman Inc. is expanding our network of reliable subcontractors for residential and commercial projects throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
We are seeking experienced subcontractors who specialize in one or more of the following trades:
- Carpentry & Finish Carpentry
- Drywall Installation, Taping & Repairs
- Painting (Residential & Commercial)
- Flooring (LVP, Laminate, Hardwood & Tile)
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- HVAC & Duct Cleaning
- General Handyman Services
Applicants should have professional experience in at least one of the above trades. Preference will be given to subcontractors who specialize in their trade and can consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.

Minimum Requirements
For All Subcontractors
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Commercial project experience is an asset
Required Documentation
- Valid City of Calgary Business Licence
- Commercial General Liability Insurance (minimum $2 million)
- Current WCB-Alberta Clearance Letter
- 2–3 commercial or professional references
- Signed QuickFix Handyman Inc. Subcontractor Agreement before starting work
Trade-Specific Requirements
- Plumbing & Electrical: Must hold a valid Alberta Journeyman Certificate or be a registered apprentice working under a certified journeyman. Permits are required where applicable.
- HVAC/Duct Cleaning: NADCA membership or ASCS certification is preferred for duct cleaning. Work involving gas appliances, refrigeration/air conditioning, or duct modifications must be performed by appropriately certified Alberta tradespeople.
- Carpentry: Trade certification is not mandatory, but applicants must demonstrate relevant experience and quality workmanship.
