We are looking for a full time Journeyman RV Mechanic to provide services at our RV resort. This will be a great opportunity to build this business from the ground up starting with a ready market at the resort and to then expand it to place a mobile repair truck on the road to provide services to the entire area.
This individual must be prepared to provide the services, deal with the public, order/track inventory and parts and time and materials for billings. He/she must be able to work without supervision, be a self starter and have excellent interpersonal skills.
We are offering an annual salary, bonus eligibility and the potential for profit sharing for the person who takes charge and helps to build a permanent, profitable business.
We are able to offer options for temporary housing if the successful candidate needs to relocate to the area. Location is 7 KM west of Rocky Mountain House on Highway 11 and 18 Km north on secondary road 756.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on RV as requested by customers
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to execute tasks accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson or in a similar skilled trade role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations or industry standards.
Having your own tools is an asset.
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
