We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker/ Forklift Operator to join our team in Burnaby. Based at our facility in Burnaby, this role is vital for ensuring the smooth handling and movement of flooring , supporting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management and order picking to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock and optimizing storage space.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to safety procedures.
