Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or varnish using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment in accordance with project specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform restoration work on existing structures to improve appearance and durability
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met efficiently
Requirements
- Prior experience in painting, restoration, or industrial painting preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Experience with residential and commercial painting projects
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, climbing scaffolding or ladders
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and rigging procedures is advantageous
- A valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between job sites
