We are looking for a Powder Coater to join our growing team in our Chilliwack – Rosedale location.

TYCROP has been innovating, designing, engineering, actualizing, and change to Scaling industrial equipment solutions for customers in (in high-demand industries across the globe, such as oil & gas, power generation, construction, mining, forestry, and more.
Duties:
- Shows ability to apply consistent, correct thickness throughout all parts
- Able to identify incorrect preparation of parts to be coated (surface prep, correct masking, etc.)
- Able to meet standard work requirements
- Maintains 5S standards
- Full understanding of how paint equipment works, and how to maintain and rebuild it
- Full understanding of powder process and gun operation
Skills:
- Proficient in using the correct paint process and procedures
- Maintains a consistent, high level of quality
- Able to work unsupervised, taking corrective actions as needed
- Able to use a dry film gauge when required
- Able to performs accurate temperature checks to insure proper cure of coating
- Able to troubleshoot issues with equipment
- Introduction into metallic and pearl coating application process
- Ability to read and understand customer Powder spec sheets
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent is prefered
- 2 -3 years experience in coating and industrial painting preferred
- Requires the ability to operate various hand and power tools.

Pay: $20.24-$25.00 per hour
