Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Tally Person to join our team. This role involves managing inventory, accurately tallying shipments, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure efficient distribution and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various equipment including forklifts and reach trucks. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on e-commerce and warehouse distribution.
Duties
- Accurately count, record, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items according to order specifications.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and cycle counts.
- Support shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities and measurements during order picking and packing processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals in warehouse distribution and e-commerce fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, or inventory management.
- Ability to operate forklifts, is highly desirable (but not necessary); certification is a plus.
- Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory quantities.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to load & unload efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods during shift hours.
- Reliable team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards.
Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
