MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Additive Manufacturing
-
Operate and monitor 3D printers according to engineering specifications;

Prepare print files and configure basic parameters;
-
Perform post-processing of parts (cleaning, support removal, finishing);
-
Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment;
-
Manage inventory of printing materials (filaments, resins);
-
Document prints and report technical issues.
Assembly and Integration
-
Assemble 3D-printed multi-part prototypes according to plans and instructions;
-
Integrate standard components (screws, inserts, bearings) into printed parts;
-
Mount sub-assemblies and perform simple mechanical adjustments;
-
Prepare assembly jigs and fixtures for engineers;
-
Test the basic functionality of assemblies.
Secondary Responsibilities - Engineering Support (30%)
-
Sort, organize, and label prototype components and parts;
-
Perform internal and external errands (purchases, deliveries);
-
Maintain cleanliness and order in prototyping and assembly areas;
-
Assist engineers with various practical tasks related to development;
-
Manage inventory of hardware and small components.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
-
Technical DEP or related experience;
-
Manual dexterity and mechanical assembly capability;
-
Ability to read simple technical plans and follow detailed instructions;
-
Experience with additive manufacturing technologies (major asset);
-
Autonomy, resourcefulness, and proactivity;
-
Excellent interpersonal skills;
-
Spoken and written French and functional English;
-
Valid driver's license.
ASSETS
-
Experience in prototype assembly or in a mechanical workshop;
-
Knowledge of 3D slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, etc.);
-
Familiarity with manual tools and basic instrumentation.
