Duties
- Remove damaged or broken auto glass safely ensuring no further vehicle damage occurs
- Install new windshields, side windows, and rear glass with attention to detail
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to handle large or heavy glass components efficiently and safely
- Apply sealants, adhesives, and other materials to secure glass in place, ensuring a secure fit that meets safety standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of old glass and debris following safety protocols
- Document all service activities accurately in customer records and communicate effectively with team members about job progress
Skills
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions
- Prior mechanic experience is a plus, especially with automotive glass or related components but not a nessesity
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide outstanding customer service
- Must hold a valid drivers licence with a clean drivers abstract
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
